AI Disclosure

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Vindiko uses artificial intelligence as an assistant to help prepare cost estimates and dispute letters. This page explains how AI is used, what data is processed, its limitations, and your rights under GDPR and the EU AI Act.

1. How We Use AI

The core Vindiko service is assisted by a large language model (LLM). When you submit a dispute, your damage photos, incident description, location, and follow-up answers are processed by the AI to help draft a cost estimate and a dispute letter. The final outputs are reviewed before delivery. This is disclosed at the point of service and applies to every dispute processed through the platform.

2. Third-Party AI Provider

AI processing is performed via the Anthropic API. Your dispute data — including photos, description, and answers — is transmitted to Anthropic's infrastructure for processing. Anthropic processes this data under a Data Processing Agreement with Vindiko and does not use it to train future models.

3. Limitations of AI-Assisted Content

AI-assisted estimates and letters are approximations. They are based on the information you provide and general market benchmarks — they may not reflect your exact location, specific insurer requirements, or unusual circumstances. The letter is a starting point for your dispute, not a guarantee of any outcome. Always review the output before sending it to your insurer.

4. Not Legal Advice

Nothing generated by Vindiko — including estimates, dispute letters, or any other output — constitutes legal advice. Vindiko is not a law firm and no solicitor-client relationship is created by using this service. If your dispute involves complex liability, large sums, or potential litigation, we recommend consulting a qualified solicitor.

5. Your Rights (Article 22 GDPR)

You have the right to request human review of any AI-generated output produced by the service, to express your point of view, and to contest a result. To exercise this right, email privacy@vindiko.com with your dispute reference. We will arrange a manual review and respond within 30 days.

6. EU AI Act

This disclosure is made in compliance with Article 52 of the EU AI Act, which requires transparency where AI assists in creating content that could affect users' decisions. Vindiko does not operate high-risk AI systems as defined by Annex III of the Act. All AI-assisted dispute outputs are identified as AI-assisted within the platform.
